Also, you don’t have to do all the thinking with her. Like with what to wear, she said, here’s the options of what I can wear—like a white robe or a
black cocktail dress—she led us through all the decisions. She’s ultra-organized. And her website is too. Professionally there are no worries with
her. And she’s a person who really makes you feel at ease and wants to get to know you. She was always prompt, always there to listen to you and
incorporate your ideas. She’s a great, eloquent speaker, with a great presence.
We were so lucky to find her—we say that all the time. We haven’t been to that many weddings and so she helped us with a lot of things, like just
knowing where we should stand. She was very professional, one of the most professional that we ran into.
She did a really, really great job. We met with her and two others that we found there. We didn’t want a religious ceremony. Ema was very
peaceful. She just had this serenity. We met for about an hour with her and she seemed very comfortable with what she was doing; it seemed to
come naturally to her. We thought she would have the right atmosphere. She also has a lot of experience. I think she’s been doing this for about 10
years.
She was exceptional. She was fun and relaxed. She actually helped eliminate stress on our wedding day. She noticed, for example that the flowers
were just lying next to the cake and she asked us if we’d like her to put them on. And she did it beautifully.
My husband and I have recommended Ema to others already! She was more than our officiant, she was like a new friend. Even our guests
commented on how wonderful she was. I would not change anything about my ceremony; she really made my day special.

As for Ema Drouillard, she is amazing. When my husband and I were planning our wedding we
were having the hardest time finding someone who would marry us since one of us is Catholic. We
ran into other little problems and we were so frustrated at one point.
Another reason that we choose her is that she was willing to do a completely non-religious
ceremony, which was what we wanted. We really didn’t know if we’d be able to get that, but that’s
what she did. She wrote up about 7 or 8 pages about a week after meeting with us. It was pretty
right on. We made a few changes to personalize a bit more. We really liked her.
We wanted something short, but still beautiful. It seems like a bunch of my friends all got married
in the last six months and my friends were all like, “this is hands down the best ceremony ever.
The most touching.”
One of my friends said she’d love to fly her back East for her wedding. And our family bonded
with Ema too.
WE couldn’t get people out of the wedding, because they were having such a great time. The whole
ambiance was just tremendous. The fact that they stuck around meant they were having a glorious
time.
And people remarked afterwards that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, including --,
who said he was just so moved. He was in tears. You can’t thaw this guy out with a pick-ax, so the
fact that he was so touched was just an indicator about how wonderful Ema’s ceremony was.
